Conceived and led by Guillian GRAVES, the seminar "These new relationships between Man and Nature" is part of the "Design in seminar" programme, offered by researchers at the Centre de Recherche en Design (CRD) of the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI-Les Ateliers) and the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay.
Here he gives the floor to Chloé LEQUETTE (Centre d'Études et d'Expertises en Biomimétisme CEEBIOS), Eva PHILIPPE (Paris Bar) and Sylvia FREDRIKSSON (Cité du design), to explore the approaches of bio-inspiration, biomimicry, bio-utilisation, bio-manufacturing and bio-assistance applied to urban environments, and to question their capacity to generate new forms of relationships between Man and Nature in the city, as well as their ethical, legal, economic, societal and cultural implications.
The seminar documentation is available by clicking on the Wiki link.
